The biggest enemy of human race
Let’s delve a little deeper into the same topic.
As humans, all the problems we need to solve every single day has a common component.
They stress us out.
If I were to show stress as an equation, it would be something like:
Lot to do + Short time + No/Little Energy = Stress
Well, at least this is stress in the context of a professional scenario.
If we can handle stress,
We can make informed decisions.
We can build resilience and stay cool.
We can stop reacting and start responding.
We can save our physical and mental health.
But we can't exactly increase the time we have.
All of us have 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week.
Can we extend our deadlines or increase the time limit for the taks?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
It's in the energy levels we carry all the difference lies.
How can we increase our energy?
Several ways, but let's focus on a few right now.
1. Good food
Food can be responsible for you to feel lazy or energetic.
2. Physical exercise
Tiring the body for a little while helps build more energy for longer periods of time in the day. Body loves to move, and moving the body helps in energising the mind.
3. Quality sleep
Without sleeping for a single day, our functioning becomes a struggle.
Imagine what we can achieve with a good quality sleep.
4. A happy and positive state of mind.
When there's a wedding in the house, we work so tirelessly.
The only reason is that we're happy and the entire energy is positive.
Even if there's no wedding in the house, we can retain that state of mind through meditation, breathing techniques, and simply by practising it.
I know, I know.
Easier said than done.
But isn't beating stress a crucial requirement to leading a happy life?
Think about it.
